An innovative solution for the steam industry. Fibrelite’s composite manhole covers are cool to the touch, preventing costly health and safety issues associated with hot metal covers. Lightweight and strong, they prevent injury to operators during removal and replacement. Fibrelite’s line of F-series composite manhole covers are designed with a non-conductive fiberglass resin that minimizes the risks posed by hot manhole covers. Multiple field trials have successfully demonstrated that even when below-grade temperatures reach extreme levels, the surface of the Fibrelite composite cover will never burn or brand pedestrians. The Fibrelite F-series manhole covers use a patented structural design that have been third-party tested to exceed 40-ton load ratings. Third party tests have proven that these covers can withstand concentrated loads even at temperatures as high as 400° F.
